Opening Reception Saturday, April 3rd from 6 to 8pmThe Wally Workman Gallery presents Laguna, new watercolors by Jan Heaton. The work in this collection is inspired by the simplistic beauty and healing properties of nature: delicate solitary shells, tangled kelp on the shore, water patterns, lush floral masses, details of trees and foliage she observed every day. Jan constructs her paintings with a myriad of transparent layers that ultimately convey a celebration of life and natural beauty.
